Know who is on site without watching the camera
Histor reads the cameras a building already has. It counts the people in view, tells moving from working from waiting, keeps the time each spot was used, and sends a message when something needs a person.
From a frame to a message, in four steps
1
Capture
A browser tab on the camera portal the building already uses saves a frame five times a second. Nothing is installed on the cameras. Footage stays on the machine for one hour and is then gone.
2
Track
A detector and a pose model find each person, follow them from frame to frame and read their posture: walking, active or still. Every sighting is written against a zone you draw once.
3
Check
Before an alert leaves, a vision model looks at the same frame and agrees or holds it. A dark frame is never reported as an empty room.
4
Tell
Slack gets the alert with the site, the floor, the time and the frame. The dashboard keeps the day: who was where, for how long, and when nobody was there at all.
What it tells you about
Each rule fires once, waits an hour before it can fire again, and carries the frame it fired on. Anything the check disagrees with is held and shown on the dashboard as held, so you can see what it decided and why.
- Desk empty
- The reception desk has had nobody at it for longer than you allow during the day.
- Nobody yet
- The day has started and no one has been seen on the floor.
- After hours
- Someone is in view when the floor should be closed.
- Crowd
- More people than the floor is meant to hold.
- Picture frozen
- The camera is sending the same frame over and over.
- Picture black
- The feed has gone dark, so nothing can be judged.
- Capture or tracker silent
- Part of the pipeline has stopped, before anyone notices a gap in the record.
- Daily summary
- At 19:30 a short written account of the day, with its numbers.
